The Educated Choice
A Message To My Friends, Family & Colleagues
Dear Family, Friends and Colleagues…
It gives me great pleasure to share with you the 'official news' that after more than twenty-six years as an educator I have recently retired from teaching and have now begun an exciting new career as a professional Realtor with Dexter Associates Realty (Kerrisdale - Vancouver).
I have been incredibly fortunate and proud to have been a teacher - a career and life path that I was always thrilled to be a part of which I know will never leave me.
In many ways, I have taught upwards of thirty years - when one considers that I was coaching children younger than myself in soccer when I was only 14. And the journey began… from soccer coaching I began directing drama festival shows; from drama festival shows to running theatre workshops; from theatre workshops to running my own youth theatre company; from the youth theatre company to being a drama teacher running a high school drama program; and then came the M.A. and the PhD; working at the universities; and then back to teaching elementary and middle school --- and in a blink of an eye… twenty-six wonderful years wind through in real time - and now an entirely new and exciting life path is opening up for me in Real Estate!

For those of you who know me well, you realize that I have always been entrepreneurial and have developed and maintained deep roots in contracting, property management and construction even while I was working as a teacher - so the jump to a career in Real Estate is not only natural but an educated choice.
It is my desire to bring the wealth of my educational experiences, natural passion, enthusiasm and dedication into the world of Real Estate --- and to that end serve my family, friends, customers and clients with the same care and attention that I used to put towards my students, their families and the educational communities that I worked within.
It would be my pleasure to help you (your family or your friends) with any or all of your Real Estate service needs now or in the future.
Please feel free to consider me as your "educated choice" when considering a Real Estate Professional.
